Thread a light kit cord through the geranium plant holder for a quick and easy light.
Designer Richard Anderson shows Joan Steffend how to turn a woven geranium basket into an hanging lamp. He suggests also using a wire hanging basket (the kind used for covering with moss) and attaching earrings or chandelier crystals--or even seasonal decorations!--for a different look.
  1. Slide off the hanging hooks.
  2. Turn upside down and run the ready-made light kit cord through the water hole in the bottom.
  3. Add a light bulb and hang.
