Simply Quilts visits the Rochester Museum & Science Center’s quilt collection in Rochester, NY where a recently rediscovered collection of antique quilts was unveiled. Museum conservator Ralph Wiegandt, along with project coordinators Beth Brandkamp and Karen Parrett, is carefully cleaning and cataloging a "lost" trove of antique quilts.

Through their meticulous efforts, generations to come will be able to enjoy these historical works of art.

Extra Fabric Hanging Sleeve Tip
Quilting expert Alex Anderson suggests that you make your quilt's hanging sleeve from all of the fabrics you used for the quilt top. That way, if future generations need to make a repair, they will have the original fabrics readily available.
